Hire the doctorate you could not find.

We represent a small number of technology PhDs — scored, screened and prepared — and present them directly to the Bay Area employers where they would create the most value. If you are one of those employers, the arrangement is simple, contingent and fully disclosed.

What you receive

Not a résumé. A prepared case.

A candidate presented by Natural Harmonics Careers arrives with the work already done — on both sides of the table.

Screened credential

Terminal degree verified. Quantifiable impact identified. Executive presence assessed for the $250,001+ band. Scored on a five-point scale with the reasoning recorded.

A valuation you can interrogate

Our compensation position is built per position — company, department, role — with every assumption documented. Numbers we present and defend under questioning.

Materials written for the role

An ATS-compliant résumé and supporting materials tailored to the specific position — not a generic academic CV. Your team reads the relevant evidence first.

A coordinated process

Interviews scheduled, debriefed and followed up by one accountable recruiter. Offers analysed quickly. Fewer loops, faster decisions, less drop-off.

Listed and created positions

We answer the posting — and sometimes propose the role.

For each target employer we catalogue every listed opening at $250,001+. For the top three we go further: an analysis of whether an unlisted need exists that a specific doctorate could fill, and a business case for creating the position.

  • Listed roles: skills match assessed against the posting, gaps addressed in framing
  • Created positions: the need, the candidate, and a payroll and benefits figure specific to your organisation
  • Direct outreach to hiring managers and internal recruiters where a cold application would waste everyone's time

The employer placement agreement

Ten percent. Contingent. Nothing else.

Under a separate Employer Placement Agreement, the hiring employer pays a fee equal to 10% of the placed candidate's first-year gross annual base compensation — calculated on the same basis as the candidate's fee. No other fee, charge or cost of any kind is payable by the employer.

$250,001$425,000$600,000

Illustrative. Base salary only — bonus, equity, commissions and benefits are excluded from the calculation. Hourly roles convert at the contracted rate × 2,080 hours. Terms are fixed by the executed Employer Placement Agreement.

The candidate's fee is their obligation, disclosed to you, and independent of yours. We never receive more than 20% of base across both streams.

Full disclosure

You should know exactly whom we represent.

We represent the candidate

Our fiduciary duties under the candidate's agreement run to them. We do not act as your agent or representative. We will tell you plainly when a role is not right for the person we represent.

Both fees are disclosed

We disclose to every prospective employer that the candidate has engaged us and pays us a fee upon placement. The candidate consents, in writing, to our receiving a separate fee from you.

Bonded and regulated

We operate as a bonded California Employment Agency under Civil Code §§1812.500–1812.508. Our surety bond, fee schedule and statutory disclosures are public.

Tell us what you need to build.

Research, platform, hardware, computational biology, autonomy — if the role needs a doctorate and pays for one, we should talk.
